Jools Holland Concert Tickets
"Pianist and television host Julian Holland was born on 24 January 1958 in Deptford, London, England. Holland started playing the piano at a very young age. In 1974 Holland joined the new band Squeeze, which featured Deptford residents Glen Tilbrook and Chris Difford. Signed to Deptford Fun City in 1978, Squeeze scored a number of hits. At the same time, Jools Holland releases his first solo song, the Boogie Woogie EP. Holland left Squeeze two years later and formed the Millionaires with Mike Paice, Pino Palladino and Martin T. Deegan. Their 1981 debut ""Bumble Boogie"" was followed by a few more singles but it was in 1983 that Jools Holland decided to go solo. His first solo single was ""Crazy Over You"" and further singles followed. He also presented the UK television pop show The Tube, which made him a popular television host. In 1985 he played with Squeeze again until 1990. Further television appearances followed and in 1992, he presented the well known BBC2 Television series, Later With Jools Holland. Two years later, Jools Holland toured with the stunning Jools Holland Rhythm & Blues Orchestra. Nowadays, as an outstanding boogie-woogie pianist, he continues to tour with his well established orchestra."
