Their first single, “Gimmie What You Got,” became a local hit. Soon after, Nelly went solo and he quickly caught the attention of Universal, who released his debut album, Country Grammar, in 2000. The singles “Country Grammar” and “Ride With Me” helped earn Nelly two Grammy Awards for Best Rap Solo Performance, one Grammy for Best Rap Collaboration, and one Grammy for Best Rap Album. After his massive solo success, Nelly rejoined his old friends group St. Lunatics to release Free City in 2001. Nelly is one of the biggest names in Hip on Hop worldwide and his shows never disappoint.
